HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - City Council - 04/02/1986CITY COUNCIL 2 APRIL 1986 The South Burlington City Council held a Special Meeting on Wednesday, 2 April 1986, at 7:15 pm, in the Mini-Conference Room, City Hall, 575 Dorset Street. Members Present Paul Farrar, Chairman; Michael Flaherty, Leona Lansing, George Mona Also Present William Szymanski, City Manager; Ruth Poger, The Other Paper Liquor Control Board Ms. Lansing moved that the Council meet as Liquor Control Board. Mr. Mona seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. Mr. Szymanski presented a catering permit from Wetherbee's Sawmill to cater a wedding at K of C Hall, 5 April, Noon to 6 PM. There are no problems with the application. Mr. Flaherty moved that the Board grant the catering permit for Wetherbees Sawmill as presented by the City Manager. Mr. Mona seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. Mr. Szymanski then presented a second class liquor license request from the new owner of Gracey's, 1333 Williston Rd. There are no problems with the application. Mr. Flaherty moved that the Board approve the second class liquor license for the new owner of Gracey's, as presented by the City Manager. Mr. Mona seconded the motion which passed unanimously. As there was no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned at 7:20 pm.
