HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - City Council - 04/10/1984CITY COUNCIL APRIL 10, 1984 The South Burlington City Council held a Special Meeting on Tuesday, April 10, 1984 at 5:00 PM, on the second floor of the City Hall, Dorset Street, South Burlington, Vermont. Members Present Michael Flaherty, Acting Chairman; Leona Lansing, William Peters. Members Absent Hugh Marvin, Chairman; Paul Farrar. Others Present William J. Szymanski, City Manager; Margaret Picard, City Clerk; Betty Bailey, Secretary. Review and Sign Warning for Annual City Meeting May 15, 1984 Mr. Szymanski passed out copies of the proposed Warning to the Council Members. After reviewing the Warning, Mr. Peters made the motion to waive the reading of the Warning and sign it as presented. Ms. Lansing seconded and all were in favor. Consider signing short term loan note for street improvements bond issue approved last May. Mr. Szymanski explained that the note was for $100,000 at 7% for one year. Ms. Lansing moved to sign the note as presented for Street improvement bond issue as approved at the Annual Meeting May 17, 1983. Mr. Peters seconded with unanimous consent. By motion of Bill Peters and seconded by Leona Lansing the meeting was adjourned at 5:05 PM. with unanimous consent.
