Hi Marla,
In further response to your initial comments, please see supplemental information in red below. We’ve also attached
updated renderings that now include the landscaping. If possible, please add these to the digital presentation for
tomorrow. I’ll bring a full size hard copy regardless.
I have not heard back from Chief Francis, but we’re assuming this too could be handled as a condition of approval. We
can either install the mountable curbing at the east parking area islands or pull them back a few feet. Which Chief
Francis allows and/or our client prefers.
See you tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey Olesky, P.E.

Hi Jeff,
I’ve done a first pass of staff comments, and since it’s a couple days early, I thought I’d give you a heads up. Please note
staff comments haven’t been reviewed internally yet, and I haven’t gotten comments back from the Fire Dept, so I can’t
promise this is exhaustive, but I’m usually not too far off. The only major comments relate to architecture; nothing big
on site stuff.
1. Signs and sign locations cannot be shown on any of the plans. We can have you correct this as a condition of
approval. [CCE – We’ll remove all signs and callouts from the plans.]
2. Are there rooftop elements beyond the architectural feature on the front of the building? Rooftop elements
include mechanical equipment in excess of one foot in height. [CCE – Just typical vent pipes and exhaust hoods.
Nothing beyond/above the ridge line. Most mechanical components will be located on mechanical pad north of
building.]
3. How tall is the architectural feature on the front of the building? [CCE – Top of the entry tower (highest point of
structure) is 25’ above finished floor elevation.]
2
4. Seeding must be done within 48 hours of final grading (see LDR Article 16). We can have you amend EPSC notes
as a condition of approval. [CCE – Happy to add this note.]
5. At sketch the Board discussed screening. The renderings don’t show landscaping; the Board may wish to see
additional renderings with landscaping. [CCE – See attached. I’ll bring hard copies to the meeting, but if these
can be added to the digital presentation for tomorrow night, that would be great.]
6. Do you have dimensioned elevations available to support the claim of glazing percentage and glazing
transparency? [CCE – Architect is working on these and at minimum, we’ll bring to the meeting tomorrow.]
Finally, this package was a pleasure to review. Thanks very much for being thorough and well organized!
Thanks,
Marla Keene, PE
