HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - City Council - 06/20/1981CITY COUNCIL JUNE 20, 1981 The South Burlington City Council held a Special Meeting in the Mini-Conference Room of the City Hall on Dorset Street at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 20, 1981. MEMBERS PRESENT Paul Farrar, Chairman; Martin Paulsen, John Towne. MEMBERS ABSENT Michael Flaherty, William Burgess. OTHERS PRESENT William Szymanski, City Manager Meet as Liquor Control Board to consider temporary license Chairman Farrar opened the meeting at 9:00 A.M. and called the meeting to order to meet solely as the Liquor Control Board, to consider an application for a temporary license to the Hospitality Inns, (DBA Sheraton-Burlington Inns), to cater a "Ground Breaking Ceremony," for the Mitel Corporation on Tuesday, June 23, 1981 at the site on Hinesburg Road from 1:30 to 4:00 P.M. It is the intent of the applicant to serve wine at this ceremony. John Towne made the motion to approve the temporary license and authorize the City Clerk to sign the application. Martin Paulsen seconded the motion. All were in favor. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 9:05 A.M.
