Hello Marla,
After looking at SH1 it is clear that the drainage will flow to the east off the path and towards the house/property. I am
fine with this design as proposed.
Thank you,
Justin

Hey Justin, this one is going in this week’s packet for the Board. I thought it was simple and therefore didn’t send it out
for department review again, but I see you had some open ended questions at preliminary plat. See quote from
preliminary plat:
The Director of Public works reviewed the plans on 6/11/2021 and offers the following comments.
Certainly a lot of details to focus on when Final Plat is submitted, but at this point my main question is
how the driveway will interact with the rec path in terms of signage, drainage, striping, etc.
The Board finds the applicant must provide detailed information, including fine grading and a culvert design
meeting the City’s minimum size and depth standards, pertaining to the driveway/rec path intersection at
the next stage of review.
I don’t see that they’ve proposed anything in particular for the rec path. Looking at the grading, they’ve managed to
grade the driveway so that it doesn’t affect the path drainage, it just retains it. I’m thinking it works without a culvert.
What do you think? Did you have something in particular in mind for signage or striping?
