Timothy Duff Request for Conditional use - 500 Swift Street Findings of Fact, Conclusion of Law & Order This matter came before the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment on November 24, 1997 by application of Timothy Duff agent for Temple Sinai, Inc. the appellant for a conditional use approval to construct two additions totaling 4794 squar feet at 500 Swift Street according to plans submitted. The Board of Adjustment finds as follows: 1) That 500 Swift Street is a Residential II District. 2) That churches are a conditional use within the Residential II District. 3) That the existing church contains 7,429 square feet and that the proposed additions are to classrooms, social hall and kitchen. 4) The lot is located at Swift and Dorset Streets and contains 3.9 acres. 5) The property is connected to City water and sewer facilities. 6) No adverse impact on municipal services are projected, the overall size of the assembly will not increase. 7) The proposed additions are to the social hall and kitchen, five additional fixtures will be installed. 8) No adverse impact of traffic, peak hour trip ends are projected to be 37.8 and average daily at 128.2 - before January 1, 1998 the Dorset and Swift Street intersection will be signalized. 9) Proposed additions are in compliance with setbacks and lot coverage. 10) The character of the neighborhood remain the same.
