BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEETING APRIL 25, 1967 The South Burlington Board of Selectmen held a special meeting at the Town Office Building, 555 Dorset Street, South Burlington, Vermont on Tuesday, April 25, 1967 at 8:30 P.M. Mr. Vincent J. D'Acuti, Chairman, called the meeting to order. MEMBERS PRESENT Vincent J. D'Acuti, Chairman; Robert K. Ashley, Frederick G. Blais, Augustus T. Stannard, and Stephen M. Whittlesey. MEMBERS ABSENT None OTHERS PRESENT Henry LeClair, Town Manager; and members of the Winooski City Council. LAND FILL AREA Members of the Winooski City Council appeared to request South Burlington's Board of Selectmen to consider extending their land fill contract. After a thorough discussion the Board indicated it would not but that it might consider a formal request providing Winooski made an adequate contribution toward offsetting their land fill operation cost and also providing that Winooski continue in their endeavor to locate their own dump site. RENTAL AGREEMENTS - FOR HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT The Board discussed the possibility of establishing rental agreements for highway equipment between the two municipalities. SEWER ASSESSMENTS The Board went into discussion of sewer assessments but was interrupted because the Planning Commission meeting requested their attendance, after which they reconvened their meeting for the purpose of acting on Mr. Douglas's resignation. Mr. D'Acuti read the letter from Mr. Douglas. A copy of the letter is included in the minutes of this meeting. Mr. Douglas offered his resignation as of May 30, 1967.
