GAS LINE CONSTRUCTION REGULATIONS Mr. D'Acuti read a resolution concerning gas transmission pipe lines as follows: RESOLVED: That the rules and regulations of the Public Service Board of the State of Vermont applicable to the construction and operation of gas transmission pipe lines, gas distribution systems, and rules and regulations prescribing standards for gas utilities, as set forth in General Order No. 41, No. 42, and No. 43 of the Public Service Board, are hereby adopted in full as the standards to be applied by the Town Manager in approving any and all such installations and operations by any gas company within the confines of the Town of South Burlington. Dated at South Burlington, Vermont, this 16th day of August, 1866. s/ Vincent J. D'Acuti s/ Stephen M. Whittlesey s/ Robert K. Ashley The Planning Commission had recommended passage of the resolution, and the Board of Selectmen voted to adopt the resolution as read. PURCHASE OF COPIER FOR TOWN CLERK The Selectmen approved the purchase of an Apeco Copymaker for the Town Clerk's Office. The copier is to be purchased from G. B. Rood, Inc., at a price of $850.00. SUNNY VIEW EAST - DUMONT DEVELOPMENT The question of relocating our sewer construction into Dumont's property (streets in Sunny View East), was thoroughly considered by the Board. In view of the added cost of $9000 for relocation, and also in view of approximately $14,000 savings to the Dumont Construction Company, it was decided by the Board that the Town should consider relocating the sewer line provided Dumont Construction Company would consider reimbursing the Town for this added expense, as well as deeding to the Town, the property on the Hinesburg Road curve right-of-way. This solution would be both fair, equitable and advantageous to all concerned, that is the Town of South Burlington, Dumont Construction Company, and the State of Vermont. The meeting was adjourned at 9 P.M. until Tuesday, August 23, 1966 at 7:30 P.M. APPROVED Published by ClerkBase ©2019 by Clerkbase. No Claim to Original Government Works.
