HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - City Council - 05/26/1965SPECIAL BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEETING MAY 26, 1965 The Board of Selectmen for the Town of South Burlington held a Special Meeting on Wednesday, May 26, 1965, at 12:10 p.m. at the Town Municipal Building at 555 Dorset Street, South Burlington, Vermont. MEMBERS PRESENT Vincent J. D'Acuti, Chairman, Ralph Goodrich, Augustus T. Stannard, Stephen Whittlesey, and Robert K. Ashley. OTHERS PRESENT Irving L. Douglas, Town Manager, and Mr. William Mikell, Town Attorney. BOARD TO SET TAX RATE FOR TOWN The special meeting was called, and the Grand List, and the Proposed Budget for the Town was presented for the purpose of setting the Tax Rate, and the following Tax Rate was unanimously approved to go on record as the Tax Rate for the year 1965-1966 to meet the Budget as voted at the 1965 March Town Meeting.
