HomeMy WebLinkAboutVR-94-0000 - Decision - 0110 Central AvenueSTATE OF VERMONT COUNTY OF CHITTENDEN CITY OF SOUTH BURLINGTON DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT On the 13 of June, 1994 the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of Michael Turner, 110 Central Avenue based on the following facts and findings: 1) The appellant is requesting permission to demolish an existing cottage and garage and construct a new dwelling and garage to within sixty-five (65) feet of the centerline of Potash Brook. 2) The existing cottage is presently located to within sixty five (65) feet of the brook centerline. 3) The structure is deteriorated beyond a reasonable cost estimate for renovating it into a desirable living area. 4) The lot exceptional topographical and other physical conditions which prevent construction of a dwelling in total compliance of the bylaws. 5) Hardship is created by the topography and not by the appellant. 6) The character of the area will be enhanced by the construction of a new structure.
