The South Burlington -Zoning Board of Adjustment held a regular meeting on
Monday, March 12, 1984 at 5: P.M., in the conference room, City Hall, 575
Dorset Street.

'or. Ward Said this appeal was postponed to give time for the Board to visit
the site and for the Bryants to get imput from their neighbors. The new
plan has moved the garage forward 3 feet giving a 6 foot setback from the back.
line and. 3 feet from the side line. Mr. Ward had several letters from neighbors
who were in favor of the Bryants plan. (see attached)
11r. Bryant said they tried. to discuss the plan with Mr. Lagios but he could.
not be reached. Mr. Graf who visited the site said it looked like Mir. Lagois
would. have more privacy with the present plan. There was no one in the audience
to speak for or against the appeal.
The appeal was granted. on a unanimous vote.
No. 2 Appeal of Paul Robar Jr.
Appeal of Paul Robar :Jr., seeking a variance from Section 18.00 Area, density
and dimensional requirements, request is for permission to construct a 12'x 20'
addition to include a garage and an addition to an existing apartment to
within ten (10) feet of the easterly property line at 196 Kirby Road.
Mr. Ward said the triangular land is on Kirby Road with the back yard abutting
Airport Parkway. The dimensional requirements are to have a minimum set back
of 30 feet and the side lot also on the street be 30 feet. The present structure
is a 2 story 2 family dwelling. There is an apartment over the garage and
part of the apartment is in one bay of the garage leaving a one car garage. The
addition is 12' x 20' lining up with the front of the house -and the closest
point to Airport Parkway would be 10 feet. He will convert the lower level
of the apartment back into a garage and the new second floor will be part of
the apartment. It changes the square footage from 86LH sq. ft. to 816 sq. ft.

We are aware of the varianre being seeked by Poderirk and Beauzetta
Bryant requesting permission to ronstrurt a 15 x 20 ft. rarage in
the northerly rear area of their yard.
We have disr.ussed this matter with the Bryants and are aware that
this rhanj�e will enable them to have more spare for outdoor enter-
taining and we have no problem whatsoever with this ronstrurtion.
