Attached please find a Zoning Permit Application for CSWD's Environmental Depot located at 1011 Airport
Parkway in South Burlington. The application is for the placement of a 20' sea container for the collection of
Universal Waste mercury -containing bulbs. In addition, we will be conducting minor site work to allow for
one of the pre-existing 40' sea containers to be set back from the building an additional 10'. This additional
set back (to a total of 100') will allow us to collect Universal Waste combustible paint materials in that sea
container per NFPA regulations.
Please note that I have discussed this potential storage of combustible materials with Deputy Chief Francis
of the South Burlington Fire Department and he has indicated verbally that he is okay with the proposed
changes. He also noted that he would be a part of the review process for this application and approval of
the application would be considered written confirmation of his consent.
Sincerely,
