Good morning Dalila
1) there is a building restriction to height on that lot which is 28' the house will come in aroun 66'. es it is a single floor
home but there is a basement and that is where the stairs go to.
2) the first floor is on the print 2250 square feet, the basemen tfollows suite and about 1200 square feet of basement
will be finished.

I'm following up on my voicemail from earlier today and have a few questions to help with processing the permit.
1. What is the building height? The floor plan you had in the packet states that it is a single story home, but there
are stairs on the plan so we just need this clarified.
2. Also, please provide the square footage by floor, including the basement. Please note how much of the
basement space is finished/unfinished.
3. Here is a link to our website for the Right -of -Way permit which is issued by our Public Works Dept., you will
need this for the driveway. I shared the sketch of your property with them and Todd Gregory, our Inspector
requested that you contact him to come in with your plans so he can assist you in completing the permit and
then he will calculate the fee. Todd can be reached at 802-846-6104 or at tgregorv@sburl.com Here's the link:

5. Per S. Burlington's Land Development Regulations you will need to comply with the State's Stretch Codes:
a. Residential Building Energy Standards (RBES). Residential buildings, as defined by 30 V.S.A. section
51(a)(2), that are principal building, shall comply with the Stretch Code, as defined by 30 V.S.A. section
53)a). Such buildings for which the RBES Certificate certifying compliance with the Stretch Code is not
recorded in the South Burlington Land Records shall be deemed land development without a zoning
permit in violation of these Regulations.

6. The applicable impact fees total $3,036.09 for this single-family home at 1725 Spear Street. The breakdown is
below:
a. Recreation Fee: $1,665.08
b. Road Impact fee: $902.12
c. Police Impact Fee: $468.89
The wastewater allocation will be $11.92/gal. x 210 gal. _ $2,503.20.
The wastewater connection fee for a Single Family home is - $1,200.00 Includes one 5/8"x 3/4" meter &
installation. A form will be included in the packet when you come for the permit.

the permit and process it.
