I hereby appeal to the Zoning Board of Adjustment for the following: conditional use,
variance or decision of the administrative officer. I understand the meetings are
held twice a month (second and fourth Mondays). The legal advertisement must appear
a minimum of fifteen (15) days before the hearing. I agree to pay the hearing fee
of $30.00 which is to off -set the cost of the hearing.

Dear Mrs. DesLauriers:
I live in the house at Spear St. and Quarry Hill Dr., which I think you
owned at one time. As you know, the back yard of the house is along Quarry
hill Dr. I would like to put a small driveway off the Quarry Hill road, in
line with the hack door of the house Thn riri vow;4y I propose i,1oul d he 1 0' x 0n'
Mr. Rene Berard is the person who would do the construction, and he would see to
it that it fit all construction requirements.
The reason I would like to have parking space where I propose is that the
back door of the house is inaccessible to people who park up front without their
tromping up the lawn or worse putting themselves in danger because during bad
weather going down the hill is slippery. I want to have a small private practice
in counseling at the house, and would use one downstairs room of the house for it.
At the most, there would be fifteen people using Quarry Hill Dr. for access
to the proposed driveway over the course of a week. I work with only one person
at a time, so there would be,no'change in traffic pattern for that road.
Mr. Dick Ward of the South Burlington zoning office said that I should get
permission from you, given that the access to the driveway would be from the
road you own. I have enclosed a drawing of the plan for your reference.
I do not know by what mechanism I should ask your permission other than this
letter. The Zoning Board will meet on May 13 to make their decision. I will
appreciate your giving this your consideration.
