Our home borders the east side of Scott Hauman's property. I am writing to notify the South Burlington Zoning Office that we support Scott Hauman's request for a variance that will allow him to rebuild his garage on its original site and also to construct an addition. The location of Mr. Hauman's original garage had no adverse affect on our property. In fact, we appreciated its location, because it provided both households an added measure of privacy. We would therefore support its reconstruction at the same site. The construction of an addition by Mr. Hauman would have no negative impact on our property, and we support his request for a variance to construct it.
