HomeMy WebLinkAboutVR-94-0000 - Decision - 1080 Shelburne RoadCOUNTY OF CHITTENDEN CITY OF SOUTH BURLINGTON DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT On the 13th day of June, 1994, the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of Perry's Restaurant Group, d.b.a. Perry's Fish House, 1080 Williston Road based on the following facts and findings: 1) The appellant is requesting approval of an increase in parking spaces (122 spaces) which will increase the total lot coverage by seven (7) percent. 2) The Planning Commission has adopted a policy which allows for narrower access aisles and 90 degree angled parking spaces. 3) The appellant is maintaining a tree belt along Baldwin Avenue and are requesting a credit towards the overall green space coverage. 4) The original parking lot design has been in existence for over 10 years. 5) Proposed parking plan promoted by the City Planning Commission supports the variance as a reasonable use of the property. 6) A hardship was created in 1985 by a taking of property for improvement to Baldwin Avenue.
