HomeMy WebLinkAboutCU-94-0000 - Decision - 1785 Shelburne RoadSTATE OF VERMONT COUNTY OF CHITTENDEN CITY OF SOUTH BURLINGTON DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT On the 27th day of September 1994 the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of J.W.J. Realty, Gary Lavigne, agent, 1785 Shelburne Road based on the following facts and findings: 1) The applicant is requesting a permit to construct an automobile sales and service facility containing 8300 square feet. 2) The lot contains 1.7 acres with 286 feet of frontage and abuts a similar use to the south on Route 7. 3) This same automobile dealership was reviewed by the Board approximately six (6) weeks prior to this date for a lot located 500 feet northerly. The conditional use was granted. The facts for this site (1785 Shelburne Road) are the same. 4) This lot is better suited for the proposed use, better soil conditions. 5) Character of the area is not affected, general automotive service along Shelburne Road.
