I suppose there’s no way to get rid of the non‐conforming canopy and its projection to the east. That resulting jog in the
sidewalk is tough to maintain in the winter.
I would like to see the turning movement templates used to justify to extra large curb cuts.
Are both curb cuts bi‐directional? The gas station just to the south (with the Dunkin Donuts) has one way curb cuts,
which cuts down on the width and improves safety.
The Hannaford redevelopment includes new bike/ped access. It would be great if this project’s proposed connection to
the Hannaford parking lot wasn’t just for vehicles but include a sidewalk as well.
The sidewalk from the proposed retail sales/restaurant to Shelburne Rd appears to want to share space with an existing
utility pole that has a lot of stuff on it and would be difficult to move.
The water line relocation on the south of the property is circuitous with a lot of 45s in it, likely requiring a lot of thrust
blocks. I’d be interested in hearing what CWD thinks. I can forward this to them if you’d like.

Gentlemen,
We’ve received a revised application to replace the existing Maple Leaf Motel with a convenience store that would be
linked to the existing gulf station. There are a lot of zoning issues related to the application, and we will be focusing on
that for their upcoming meeting on March 5, but I wanted to give you the opportunity to weigh in if you had
concerns. If you have any comments, please let me know no later than early next week. I will be launching my packet
for the Board on Friday March 1.
