Dear Mr. Ward:
As requested during our recent telephone conversation, I
am enclosing a site plan indicating the location upon which
the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce would like
to place our tourist information office for the period May
through October, 1977.
The office will be used to provide a convenient location
for dissemination of information and material to tourists
and other visitors to the region and will be housed in an
8' x 25' trailer. The trailer is equipped with a lavatory
and septic holding tank.
The office will be manned by one or more attendants during
hours of operation. We anticipate that the office will be
open Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during
the period May 27 to June 30 and will be open seven days a
week thereafter through September 5. We will then revert
to a weekend opening schedule through October 16.
I would appreciate receiving approval for the placement of
the trailer on site at your earliest convenience. If further
information is required, please advise.

Dear Dick:
I am enclosing copies of correspondence describing the agree-
ment between National Life and the Chamber regarding the use of the
National Life site for our tourist information trailer.
I have asked our insurance agent, Smith, Bell and Thompson to
name the city of South Burlington as an additional insured and Warren
Thomas will send you a certificate of insurance to that effect.
I appreciate your assistance to us.

I am in receipt of your May 17, 1977, letter covering May 6, 1977,
letters (two) and May 1.3, y)77, letter by Lake Champlain Regional Chamber
of Commerce plus a Certificate of .:asurance, all ir, support of the Chamber's
request to locate an information bjuth (trailer) u one of our vacant lots
in -South Burlington -
We are willing to grant such occupancy,on a rent-free basis between
the dates of May 26 and October 15, 1977, subject to the following condi-
tions:
I. The Chamber will assume payment of any increase in real estate
taxes resu,.ting from this occupancy.
2. We shall be provided a sketch showing the exact location of
the trailer.
3. The Chamber shall agree to remove the trailer and restore the
premises to original condition within 14 days of our request

4. The premises shall, at all times, be maintained in a neat and
clean fashion.
j. The trailer will be equ.pped with a self-contained lavatory
and septic system.
6. National shall be he d ciarmless by the Ci.amoer for any liability

Dear Mr. Ward:
This letter is to advise you that we have installed a Portable Toilet
at the Chamber of Commerce "Information Booth" on Shelburne Road to
Accommodate the personnel that operates the booth. This toilet is not
for public use.
We plan to service the unit weekly, or more often if needed. The
Toilet is a flush type Monomatic. If there is any question regarding
this please advise me.
