COUNTY OF CHITTENDEN
CITY OF SOUTH BURLINGTON
On the 27th day of April, 1992, the South Burlington Zoning Board
of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of Timothy and
William O'Brien, 1475 Shelburne Road, based on the following
facts and findings:
1) Applicant requesting to construct a 2700 square foot addition
to an existing building which is non -conforming to front yard
setback. All other requirements are complying.
2) Structure in question constructed in 1950's, prior to zoning
regulations.
3) Addition will result in providing access for the handicapped.
4) Two story addition being proposed in order to provide more
green space.
5) The non -conformity of the existing building has no affect on
the character of the area.
Based upon the above stated facts and findings the appellant's
request for a variance is hereby approved.
