I am embarrassed at all the snafus and want to be clear that I would have never proceeded with the deck if I had had any question as to its legality. I spoke with Paul Raymond, our Director of Operations when he returned from his vacation. I had assumed that he had shown you the landscape plan with the deck when he came by to get the building permit. When I questioned him, however, he said no, that "the plan" was mentioned only briefly and he had assumed that the plan you said you had on file was the same one he had. In any event, the mistake is clearly ours and I was under the impression that everything was okay. We will get together the total plans and have them in your office by Tuesday and see how it flies on the 7th. Thank you for your understanding and cooperative spirit.
