Re: Site plan review - Budget -Rent-A-Car.
Dear Mr. Preda:
On August 91 1977 1,1:r. Page received an application for site plan
review with a sketch plan dated 3/10/77 identified as "Proposal
for Budget Rent-A-Car".
This plan was reviewed by this office and was dee:.qed incomplete,
upon which Mr. Page contacted Mr. Rupert King and so informed him.
This plan has no landscaping (existing or proposed) it provides no
parking spaces, parking circulation, no screening; all of which is
a requirement under Section 11.70 of the South Purlington Zoning
Regulations.
It was my understanding that 1`1r. king was going to discuss this
with you or Mr. Sahnin in order to revise the plan. Neither Mr.
Page or myslef have had the opportunity to discuss this plan
since that time, and I personally feel we are experiencing a
communication problem.
I am enclosing a copy of Section 11.70 and a application for site
plan review along with an application signed by Mr. ;ahnin and
delivered to the office by Mr. ring, please note that the infor-
mation furnished is very incomplete.
In order to process this application properly, please complete

the application and re -submit it to Mr. Wage along with a revised
plan which conforms to those requirements as set"orth under
Section 11.70.

In reference to your verbal request that the plans for the present
intended use of the property located at 1048 Shelburne Road, So.
Burlington, Vt. by Budget Rent A Car Burlington, Vt.tenants, be
submitted in writing. Please be advised that:
1. Current plans are to use the former Munson residence for office
space for the Car Rental, leasing operation without any exterior
structural changes beyond painting and cleaning of the existing
structure. The existing brick garage will remain as is except for
painting and cleaning.
2. The grounds will have a grassed area along a line east of Shelburne
with a uniform depth of 17' adjacent to the structure from Hough St.
to the property line to the south as per plan.
3. Existing trees will remain in place on the lot.
4. One curb cut from Hough St. to the property is hereby requested as
per plan.
4.A. Permission to erect approved signs is hereby requested.
5. A parking lot of 130' fronting on Hough St. by a uniform depth
of 120' to be used for parking of cars under the control of Budget Rent
A Car is hereby requested. It is our intention to use an approved method
of bumpers on the perimeter of the parking lot as per plan.
6. The remaining portion of the property will not be used by the tenant,
Budget Rent A Car, Burlington, Vt. but will remain under the control of
its owner, Peter Val Preda.
