BRIEF NARRATIVE: On 04/25/2018 the South Burlington Police Department received a complaint of a male passing fake $50.00 bills at a convenience store in South Burlington. A store employee identified William Burnett 25 years old of Burlington, as the person who entered the store, and asked for change for the fake $50.00 bills, (which stated on the face “Motion Picture Use only”). Burnett left the store on foot and South Burlington Police were able to catch up with him with the assistance of Burlington Probation and Parole where he was issued a citation to appear in court on May 24th, 2018 to answer to the charge of False Pretenses.
