BRIEF NARRATIVE:
In the early morning hours on April 1st, 2018 the South Burlington Police officers were investigating public complaints in regards to suspicious activity at a condo unit located at Stonehedge condos in South Burlington. Upon this investigation Michael Gonzalez, 29 years old of Underhill, exited the condo of interest and approached a marked police cruiser, believing it was pizza delivery vehicle delivering pizza to Gonzalez. Upon doing so SBPD learned Gonzalez had an active arrest warrant for careless and negligent operation out of Franklin County, Vermont. He was taken into custody for the outstanding warrant. While in custody SBPD officers found Gonzalez to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of suspected heroin and MDMA.
While speaking with Gonzalez SBPD officers learned of a second resident in the condo of interest who also had
an active arrest warrant. Based on information obtained from an ongoing investigation, officers were able to
obtain a search warrant for the condo unit located at Stonehedge. Upon executing the search warrant officers
located William Russell, 29 years old of Shelburne in the residence. Russell was found to have an outstanding
arrest warrant for Petit Larceny. Russell was taken into custody for his warrant.
Both Gonzalez and Russell were transported to and lodged at CRCF for their warrants. Additionally, Gonzalez
