BRIEF NARRATIVE: On 03/31/2018 at approximately 10:48 PM while on routine patrol a South Burlington
Police officer observed a vehicle traveling on Shelburne Road with defective tail lights. A traffic stop was conducted and the operator was eventually identified as Timothy Bethel, 27, of Burlington, VT. Bethel attempted to provide Officers with a false identity, however, after a brief investigation his true identity was revealed. Further investigation releveled Bethel’s Driver’s License to be criminally suspended in the State of Vermont. Bethel was subsequently taken into custody for Driving While Criminally Suspended (DLS) and False Information to a Police Officer. Bethel was issued a citation to appear in court on 04/19/2018 at 8:30 AM to answer to the charge of DLS and False Information to a Police Officer.
