BmInO M Re: NFI Vermont Site Plan Amendment & Conditional Use Application 102 Allen Road, South Burlington Dear Marla, We are writing on behalf of NFI Vermont c/o Chuck Myers to apply for a site plan amendment at their property at 102 Allen Road in South Burlington. The applicants are proposing a t 3,255 square foot building addition to an existing residential staffed group home. The addition will be comprised of 2 floors, to match the existing building, and will have a footprint of approximately 1,640 square feet. The applicants also plan to renovate approximately 1,330 square feet of the existing building. Also proposed are four (4) new parking spaces and a pedestrian walkway to access the building. Impervious coverage on site will be increased by approximately 2,991 square feet. On -site utilities are all existing and no changes are proposed. The site is densely vegetated and minimal clearing will be required to construct the project. A robust variety of shrubbery is proposed on the site plan, however we are requesting a landscaping credit of $4,300 due to the existing dense on -site vegetation. The landscaping budget is estimated to be $7,800 (by Table 13-9 in the Land Development Regulations) and we are proposing approximately $3,500, hence the request for a credit of $4,300.
