Redwood Motel and Coffee Shop requests permission to erect a six by eight illuminated sign as an addition to their present sign -Redwood Motel and Coffee Shop -on Shelburne Road. It will be constantly illuminated without any flashing motion. In the middle of a white background will be a gold emblem in the shape of a door knocker, "Master Hosts" printed in the middle. As I discussed with you at that time, we are planning to build an addition to the Redwood. Motel which will embrace a room for the installation of Direct Dial telephone equipment, an area for additional storage space, and four or five new units. This expansion will extend from the Coffee Shop area due east --to connect with the wing of our original building. In other words, this addition will be built over existing units #3 through #7.
