Dear Dick,
As you know from our previous conversations, I am attempting
to purchase Mr. Arthur W. Mason's property at 938-950 Shel-
burne Road, South Burlington, Vermont.
I wish to use the lst floor of the large building as a real
estate office for my use and to rent the smaller ell as
another professional office. The existing apartments will
remain as they are.
Our intention is to use the buildings as they exist, except
that we will repair, re -decorate and do the maintenance
necessary to put the buildings in good condition. Also, we
are arranging to have the lot laid out for the necessary
parking areas and a new landscaping plan.

Daycare (existing use) was approved under Interim zoning - area used by daycare
will become apartment and office area.
Proposed use 2336 square feet of office area - one area to be occupied as a real
estate agency, other unknown at this time.
In additional to professional offices -six apartments - two over business office
area and four in second structure.
Lot contains 18,944 square feet - 60,000 square feet minimum in C-1 District -
lot is grandfathered under Section 11.40.
