Re: Findings of Fact, application of Ali Tahami for New England
Imported Rugs for conversion of use from office to retail space
at 930 Shelburne Road.
On the 14th of June 1988, the South Burlington Planning
Commission approved the request of Ali Tahami of New England
Imported Rugs for site plan approval under Section 19.10 of the
South Burlington Zoning Regulations based on the following
findings:
1. TRAFFIC ACCESS: Access will remain from the existing 15 foot
wide driveway from Shelburne Road.
2. CIRCULATION AND PARKING: Circulation is shown along the
north side of the building to the parking lot in the rear. The
plan shows seven parking spaces; use requires six.
3. LANDSCAPING & SCREENING: No new plantings are required; the
plan shows $400 in new .landscaping (juniper and yews).
4. OTHER: A storm water runoff plan shall be approved by the
City Engineer prior to permit. The building permit shall be
obtained within 6 months or this approval is null and void.
