General project description (explain what you want approval for): The Taxiway 'G' Relocation Project includes relocation of +/- 5,800 LF of Taxiway 'G' within the BTV airfield to provide safer and more efficient aircraft ground movement. Additional features includes a new aircraft holding bay, relocation of Taxiway'A', reconstruction of Taxiways V and 'H.', and stormwater improvements. Work consists of three phases. b. Existing Uses on Property (including description and size of each separate use): The BTV airfield includes the active runways, taxiways, Air Carrier Apron, and adjacent areas between the existing terminal and the Air Guard property. The areas not paved are open and vegetation is limited to grass. c. Proposed Uses on property (include description and size of each new use and existing uses to remain): The proposed project will not change the use of the BTV airfield. The Taxiway'G' relocation will provide improved safety for the circulation of aircraft when taxiing to and from the runways. d. Total building square footage on property (proposed buildings and existing buildings to remain): There will be no change to the existing buildings on the property. e. The project will be constructed in three phases over a two year period, with Phase 1A (2017) including reconstruction of 175' of stub Taxiway G, an underground stormwater detention system, and restoration of the north outfall area. Phase 1 B (2017) includes construction of 2,300 ' of parallel Taxiway G, stormwater infrastructure along both sides of the Taxiway, and an aircraft holding bay. South Burlington Development Review Board Meeting Participation Guidelines The Development Review Board (DRB) presents these guidelines for the public attending Development Review Board meetings to insure that everyone has a chance to speak and that meetings proceed smoothly. The DRB is a Quasi -Judicial Board that oversees the approval of development projects within the City It is made up of citizens appointed by the City Coundl. The role of the DRB is to hear and review appfications for development under the applicable regulations. The DRB can only approve applications that comply with the applicable bylaw or state law, and the board can only levy conditions that are permitted under the bylaw By the same token, if a protect meets the applicable bylaw criteria, the DRB is bound by law to grant the approval. 1. The Board asks that all participants at meetings be respectful of Board members, staff, applicants and other members of the pubko present at the meeting. 2. Iniilal discussion on an agenda item will generally be conducted by the Board and the applicant. As this is our opportunity to engage with the subject, we would like to hear from all Board members first. After the Board members have discussed an item, the Chair will open up the floor for public comment. Please raise your hand to be recognized to speak and the Chair will try to call on each participant in sequence. 3. Once recognized by the Chair, please identify yourself to the Board. 4.
