The Board of Selectmen has instructed that this form be sent to adjacent propert> owners as a method of advising them of a public hearing that could or could not affect their property. This is notintende(". to mean that they are either in favor of or against the request, but is merely furnished for your informational purposes. Very truly yours, Richard Ward Zoning .Administrator RW j MEMORANDUM TO: Zoning Board of Adjustment FROM': Richard Ward, Zoning Administrator SUBJECT: Direct violation of the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance DATE: March 3, 1971 Investigation has been made by myself and has revealed that the Hurley's are in direct violation of the home occupation provisions. This was brought to my attention by Mrs. Krapcho, who is concerned mainly with the fact that it is fully the intent to use the swimming pool as part of horne occupation. Presently the Hurley's are operating a dance school and have been for over 5 years. The major problems now are parking problems. On Monday investigation revealed ten (10) cars parked in and around the driveway of the Hurley's. John Ewing advises that if this is a violation of the home occupation, the granting of a variance would only compound the entire situation, and feel that the violation should be handled as an entirely different matter. ---------- -- E --- R --- S THE CHAMPLAIN ACADEMY OF BALLET S,U ri M E P AD NCE 14ORKSHOP 11 Sebring Road, So. Package of: Ballet, Modern & Jazz $22.00 CLASSES TO BE HELD MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON, rly Dear parents and students: Because my baby is due May first, our regular season will end at they close of the fourth semester, April 12th. We will have a "recess" for two months, but will be offering a special Summer Workshop for students of all ages and abilities interested in con- tinuing their dance training on a more concentrated level, combining the classes with relaxation in our new kidney -shaped swimming pool. Swimming privileges are offered only to students in the summer program - friends and relatives will:,i,ot be admitted to pool area due to limited space. Mothers of the younger students are invited to swim in order to i supervise their own child. Due to obvious reasons, a large June dance concert will be impossible this year; however, I feel the students as a whole have made great strides since September, 1970 in technique and ballet development. Interest has been high and improvement noticeable. It has been my pleasure to watch each child grow stronger and look more the budding ballerina with each passing week. I hope to see many of you during our summer special and all of you when our season resumes next September. Thank you all for a happy teaching year. Fondly, 4 JH/cm
