7) PROJECT DESCRIPTION
a. General Project Description (describe what you are proposing): The proposed project is the upgrade and retrofit of
a stormwater detention basin along Kennedy Drive. The City recently approved a bond vote for a construction ban for the Kennedy Drive Pond 3 project.
The project will direct additional untreated runoff to Pond 3, as well as retrofit it to a gravel wetland. The project will reduce the peak flow
of stormwater discharged to the impaired Potash Brook, as well as reduce the amount of phosphorous discharged to Lake Champlain.

Existing stromwater detention basin that treat runoff from Kennedy Drive.

One gravel wetland along with associated piping.

Plans shall be submitted which shows the information required by the City's Land Development Regulations.
Three (3) regular size copies, one reduced copy (11" x 17"), and one digital (PDF-format) copy of the plans must
be submitted. A subdivision application fee shall be paid to the City at the time of submitting the application.

NOTE: NOTIFICATION of ADJOINING PROPERTY OWNERS: Notification of adjoining property owners, in
accordance with 24 V.S.A. §4464(a) and Section 17.06(B) of the South Burlington Land Development
Regulations, is the responsibility of the applicant. After deeming an application complete, the Administrative
Officer will provide the applicant with a draft meeting agendas or public hearing notice and sample certificate of
service. The sworn certificate of service shall be returned to the City prior to the start of any public hearing.
