Re: Burlington International Airport Request for conditional use
J.J. Hamilton Director 1150 Airport Drive
Findings of Fact. Conclusions of Law & Order
This matter came before the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment on February 22, 1999 by
application of John J. Hamilton, Director, the appellant for a conditional use approval to occupy an
existing 28,500 square foot structure with a maximum of 4 tenants (general office and warehousing and
distribution) located at 1150 Airport Drive according to plans submitted. Attorney Joe Farnham
represented the Burlington International Airport. The Board of Adjustment finds as follows:
1) The area in question was recently rezoned to permit general office uses as conditional use.
2) The proposed uses are airport related uses to include air cargo carriers.
3) The proposed uses have no adverse impacts on community facilities.
4) Character of the neighborhood is not adversely impacted.
5) Traffic generated by the proposed uses will have a minimal impact to highways in the area.
