Subject: My opposition to the current sketch plan application #SD-18-32 is based upon
the submitted inaccurate consolidated QTA —Site plan drawing by PGAL.
Mr, Chairman,
I submit to the DRB my concerns in writing, as I work at night and cannot
attend the meeting scheduled for Tuesday 1/15/2019 @ TOOpm.
The QTA — Site plan drawing shows houses along Airport drive from White
Street extending Southward towards Aviation Deli. This map is false. No houses
exist on Airport Drive from White Street/Airport Drive along airport drive up to
the Aviation Deli store on Airport Drive. These houses were removed several
years ago. I require the DRB to be presented with accurate and up to date maps
and drawings, depicting Airport Drive as it exists in Year 2019, before doing any
further review of this application.. The first street with a house is my house @ 1
Delaware Street, one street West of Airport Drive. My house is and will be the
first point of contact for all noise and light emissions.
2. The existing chain -link fence labeled as Site Fence on the Consolidated QTA —
Site Plan is not adequate to contain the sights and sounds created on the Airport
grounds. I require a new solid containment wall be erected running the full length
of the existing chain -link fence to be no less than 10 feet tall and 10 inches thick
and extending to the end of the airport grounds at the Airport Drive/White street
intersection. The wall needs to be non -see thru with either a natural field stone
facade or Vermont marble or Vermont Granite facade facing from ground level
extending vertically 10 feet from ground level.
3. The proposed underground 15,000 gallon fuel tank I presume will be required to
have fully approved local, state and federal certificates before ground is broken.
4. The drawing on the Consolidated QTA- Site plan for the Wash/Dry and Gas
pumps, to be directly in line of site with my property at 1 Delaware Street. I will
need to see in writing from the Airport, The City of South Burlington and the
DRB, the hours of operation, for the Wash/Dry and Fuel filing pumps before this
project goes any further. 1 require all wash/dry and fuel filing operations to he
shut down by 10:00pm each day of the week.
5. The commercial space with the Wash/Dry and Fuel filing stations along with all
vehicle parking area's and movement will ad -hear to the South Burlington Noise
Ordinance, and all violations of the noise ordinance will be enforced by the Law
Enforcement Officers assigned to the South Burlington Police Department.
6. All on site lighting for the new Wash/Dry, Fuel filing stations and all parking
area's to have lighting that does not radiate extraneous light towards Airport
Drive and my property tt, 1 Delaware Street, South Burlington, Vermont.
