Re: Horizon Heights Condominiums Stormwater Improvements
Dear Ray:
The Horizon Heights Condominium Association (HHCA) was notified by the ANR Stormwter
Section that it is subject to stormwater permit 3-9030 ("RDA permit"). Heindel & Noyes was
selected to perform an Engineering Feasibility Analysis (EFA) to determine what stormwater
system improvements are necessary to bring the site into compliance with the terms and
conditions of the RDA permit. We evaluated the site in the winter of 2009 and proposed a
swale improvement as the most effective measure to comply with the permit. On July 13, the
ANR gave its approval to the design. During the review process, Tom DiPietro, South
Burlington's Stormwater Superintendent, was involved and has approved the design concept.
Enclosed with this letter are an application for Development Review Board approval, list of
abutting landowners, application fee ($88), five full-size drawing sets and one reduced drawing
set. Please review the enclosed information and place us on the first available opening for a
DRB hearing. Let me know if you have any questions on this matter.
Sincerely,
Shane M. Mullen, P.E.
