Re: Agricultural use in the I-C District
Date: January 16, 1986
On January 14, 1986 the Planning Commission discussed amend-
ing the ordinance to allow agricultural uses as a permitted
use in the Industrial -Commercial District. They decided to
stick to their policy of not considering any amendments until
we formally begin the revision of our ordinance. This is
expected to begin in February. The ordinance will probably
be revised to permit these uses at that time.
Although there was some indication that it was intentional
to "zone out" agricultural uses in the I-C zone, the majority
did not object to a use variance for this purpose.
