The walls must be removed. The concrete slab will not be a problem providing that the area is used for parking only. Your request to construct the proposed addition and maintain the minimum set back will still require a variance. I suggest that you work out any proposal with your neighbors before applying to the Zoning Board. Removal of the addition should be completed within ten (10) days. The original permit (#88-149 issued 11/9/88) expired six (6) months from the date issued. A new permit would be required to construct the proposed storage facility. Since you have started the addition with a less than ten (10) foot side yard, it does not comply and is therefore in violation. We request that all construction cease until the Zoning Board of Adjustment considers a side yard dimensional waiver. Their next meeting is scheduled for October 22, 1990 with a filing deadline of October 2, 1990.
