Eastman, Esquire 158 Bank Street Burlington, Vermont 05401 RE: Deslanaier - City of South Burlington Dear Bob: The powers of the City (including the City attorney) have reviewed the deed and transfer return which I am returning to you. I am afraid that the description in the deed does not quite jive with the road as it presently exists. I am wondering whether it would be to much trouble to revise the description to reflect the following: 1. That the conveyed portion of Oakwood Road. is 50 feet wide and 400 feet, more or less, in length. 2. The conveyed portion of the road lies adjacent to O and southerly of that portion of Oakwood Road previously con- veyed by the grantors to the grantees by deed dated April 1, 1966 and recorded in Volume 85 at Page 23 of the City Land Records. 3. That the conveyed portion of the road is bordered on the west by Lots 105, 106, 107, 108 and 109 as depicted on the plan recorded in Volume 11 at Page 309 of the City Land Records, and is bordered on the east by Lots 82, 81 and 80 and other lands of the within grantors as depicted on the aforementioned plan. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call me. Very truly yours, Richard A. Spokes RAS:ct Enclosures cc: William J. Szymanski, City Manager Steven Page, City Planner P.S. It looks like the road might be subject to an easement in favor of the Champlain Water District, and you may want your deed to reflect this. FORMA VEI2MONT • WARRANTY DEED TUTS LANX -13T.- U. S.
