Be advised that your request for a zoning variance was denied by
the Zoning Board of Adjustment on February 8, 1988.
The Board found that your request failed to meet criteria #1 of
Section 4468 having to deal with unique physical circumstances or
conditions, to include narrowness, irregularly of your lot and
that no unnecessary hardship results.
Having reviewed your application further I believe we can accept
,your application under Section 19.653 multiple structures for one
user. The City Attorney is of the same opinion.
Should you split the uses of the building at a later date, you
will be subject to those bylaws then in affect.
Site plan review by the Planning Commission is still scheduled
for the February- 23, 1988 agenda.

The City Council, at their February 1, 1988 meeting expressed
their concern over the appeal of David Brassard and William
Black seeking numerous variances to construct an office
building in conjunction with the Midas Muffler Shop at 1255
Williston Road.
It is the feeling of the Council that the variances requested
are far too many, especially in this congested area.
