HomeMy WebLinkAboutVR-93-0000 - Decision - 0100 Allen RoadSTATE OF VERMONT COUNTY OF CHITTENDEN CITY OF SOUTH BURLINGTON DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT v9_ 9 3 ©o o-D On the 22nd day of November 1993, the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of Allenbrook Homes for Youth, 100 Allen Road based on the following facts and findings: 1) Applicant is requesting permission to construct an addition to the Jarrett house. The proposed addition will provide a recreational area which is a requirement of S.R.S. (State agency). 2) Land surrounding building in question is restricted by the location of a major stream, which is the reason why an addition is proposed to the east of present structure. 3) The use (group home) located within a residential area does not affect the general character. 4) Hardship is created by state regulations and an upgrading of programs.
