DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT
On the 8th of August 1994 the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment
heard evidence reearding the appeal of Jere & Carole Meserole, 54 Bartlett Bay
Road based on the following facts and findings:
1) The applicant is requesting to construct a 111x131 addition to an existing
single family dwelling which is located within the required setback from Lake
Champlain.
2) The structure is a converted summer camp which was constructed in the
19201s.
3) The proposed addition is located in the easterly side of the dwelling which
does not affect the setback to the lake.
4) The character of the neighborhood will not change.
5) No possibility that the property can be altered in conformity with the setback
requirements.
Based upon the above facts and f the appellant's request for a variance is
hereby approved.
