DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT
On the 13th day of February, 1995 the South Burlington Zoning Board
of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of City of South
Burlington, Charles Hafter, 15 Bartlett Bay Road, South Burlington,
Vermont based on the following facts and findings:
1) Request is to demolish existing sewer drying beds and replace
with a new structure containing 7872 square feet.
2) The use proposed is a experimental treatment plant to treat
solid waste and with State permits may increase the capacity of the
treatment plant.
3) This proposal will certainly be a renewable energy resource.
4) The new facility will improve the essential character of the
area.
5) This facility will be a learning center not creating an impact
on the school system.
Based upon the above facts and findings the appellant's request for
a conditional use is hereby granted.
