Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you for this information. I can only use the 494' — 6" of frontage along Williston Road (see Section 9 (e) (3) (i) of
the Sign Ordinance which says that only contiguous frontage on one public street can be used to calculate the amount of
frontage eligible to be applied under Table 9.1. The remaining frontage is on an Interstate ramp which is not a City
street. This amount of frontage adds 20 additional square feet to the 40 sq. ft. base allowance for a total of 60 sq. ft. and
the sign proposed is 70.63 sq. ft. If you can provide information to show that the total sq. footage of the building is at
�t 50,000 sq. ft., you will be eligible for 20 additional sq. ft. which will be adequate for the proposed sign.

Attached you will find the proposed sign package #C101834R5 for the Sheraton located at 870 Williston Rd in
Burlington for your review.
We have based our sign size recommendation using code below:
Code Section 9 (e)(3)(i).
Table 9-1, which was referenced in the code attachment (but not included) should show that this property has well ov-
600 linear feet of frontage.
Per code, we feel that entitles them to an additional 40sf (80sf max).
Please advise if that is not the correct way to interpret that code.
