Currier Date: April 12, 2017 Re: #SP-16-10 6 Ethan Allen Drive, South Burlington Attached please find a completed sign permit application for a free standing sign at the entrance to the recently constructed building at 6 Ethan Allen Drive and two (2) building mounted signs for A.H. Harris, the buildings first tenant, in Suite# 1 . Also attached is fee of $165.00 ($55.00 per sign x 3 signs) and design details for all three signs. Free Standing Sian Details: A 6.5-ft wide x 10-ft high free standing sign has been proposed at the projects entrance off of Ethan Allen Drive. In accordance with Table 9.1 the building, which has a road frontage of 810-Ft and footprint of 39,535 sq. ft, is allowed an 80-sq. ft. free standing sign. As proposed the sign will have an area of 35 sq.ft. (Three 24"x70" aluminum pans). This sign will have no illumination, will be located within 25-ft of the approved entrance and no closer than 5-ft to the property line. See attached dimensioned drawing showing the proposed free standing sign for the site. Free Standina Sian Details: Two (2) 4'x10' wall mounted signs have been proposed for A.H. Harris which will occupy Suite # 1. In accordance with Table 10.1 the building which is a multi -tenant building, requiring no master signage permit, and having a free standing sign is allowed up to 2 wall signs per tenant, provided that the maximum area is either 15% of the facade to which the sign is attached, 5% of the individual tenant storefront area, or 100 sq. ft., whichever is smaller. One building mounted sign will be placed on the buildings west face (facing Lime Kiln Road) which has a facade area of 5,539 sq. ft. (191-ft long x 29-ft high) allowing for a 100 sq. ft. sign; a 40 sq. ft. sign has been proposed. The second building mounted sign will be placed on the buildings east face (facing the parking lot and above the entrance to Suite # 1) which has a store front area of 4,350 sq. ft.(150-ft long x 29-ft high) allowing for a 100 sq. ft. sign; a 40 sq. ft. sign has been proposed.
