HomeMy WebLinkAboutCU-94-0000 - Decision - 0020 Baldwin AvenueSTATE OF VERMONT COUNTY OF CHITTENDEN CITY OF SOUTH BURLINGTON DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT On the 27th day of September 1994 the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of Richard Collette, Todd & Dawn Lawliss, agent, 20 Baldwin Avenue based on the following facts and findings: 1) Applicant has proposed to convert a single family dwelling containing 2300 square feet into a day care center. 2) Board has a concern regarding the increase in traffic created by the proposed use. 3) The general residential character of the area will be affected by the proposed commercial use of the property. 4) The safety of the children walking to Orchard School is a major concern from area residents. 5) The turning movements onto Baldwin Avenue from Shelburne Road are presently causing problems, additional traffic will only compound the problems. 6) Highest and best use of the property is residential and should not be altered.
