The South Burlington Board of Civil Authority held a mee ng on Sunday, November 5, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., in
the Conference Room, City Hall, 575 Dorset Street.
MEMBERS PRESENT: P. Taylor, Chair; D. Kinville, C. Shaw, P. Nowak, R. Nowak, B. Burgess, M. St. Germain, T.
Barri , A. Cli , M. Mahoney
1. Agenda Review: Addi ons, dele ons or changes in the order of Agenda items:
No changes were made to the Agenda.
2. Comments and Ques ons from the public not related to the Agenda:
No issues were raised.
3. Approve addi onal assistant elec on officials:
There were no new assistant elec on officials to approve
4. Checking off absentee ballots on Voter Checklist:
The BCA members were split into groups of 2 with both from different poli cal par es and given a
representa ve district assignment. The sealed bags were brought out from the Clerk’s vault and placed before
each pair of BCA members. The absentee ballots were marked off on the printed checklist. Once complete the
ballots were once again placed into bags, sealed and placed in the Clerk’s vault to be brought to the polls on
elec on day.
5. Tes ng any remaining tabulator machines
All machines had been tested at the October 26, 2017 mee ng.
6. Other business:
None
As there was no further business to come before the Board, Ms. Nowak moved to adjourn. Mr. Barri
seconded. Mo on passed unanimously. The mee ng was adjourned at 11:45 a.m.
