No changes or amendments to agenda2. Cathy F moved to accept April meeng minutes, Bob B said that the minutes have not been posted to the website.3. Tom Chienden informed the commiee that City Councilor Megan Emery has proposed addional money beadded to the City budget for next year for ½ me administrave assistance for Public Works for bike/ped grantwring, ½ me for other public works funcons. Orchard resident concerned about DPW trucks on rec path. Speed can be an issue. Jusn is not aware of a problem. Rec path users responsibility for riding in control. 4. Future joint meeng with City Council, Planning Commission was suggested by the Commiee. Timing is usuallyaer new members have been appointed. Cathyann stated that interviews for new members are typically held inJune with July appointments. Cathyann will request advice on how to beer work with City Council.5. Cathyann brought the following to the aenon of the commiee.a. Grant received for $10,000, which is likely to go to digital mapping of bike/ped facilies in SB.b. 4 addional scoping studies have been acceptedc. June meeng agenda can be used to expand datasets connected with GIS mapping i. Mapping of known bike/ped connecons ii. Mapping of missing connecons iii. Cathyann will bring in data that we already haved. Planning Commission update – May 9 Public hearing for end of trip bike faciliese. Kimball Avenue emergency road repair- no money budgeted for culvert over Muddy Brook. SB has 50%cost share with Williston. Opportunity to widen culvert to allow widening of pavement for bike lane.6. I89 Bike/Ped Crossing Public meeng – 4 Commiee members aended for review 5 alternave schemes. Commiee discussed and did a preliminary vote on preference. Discussion about how bike commuters mayprefer shortest route opon on Williston Rd, but pedestrians may prefer avoided busiest intersecons. a. Do nothing b. 3 Bridge Opon – 1- 1st choice, 0-2nd choice c. 1 Bridge Opon- 2- 1sst choice, 3-2nd choice d. Gondola e. Connoli Bridge over exisng bridge, 3-1st choice, 3-2nd choice7. Annual Plan8. Amanda submied as a Google Doc under April 2017 file. This is to aid cross commiee communicaons relatedto the Comprehensive Plan. Heading include Annual Commiee Work Objecves/Strategy/Acon Item/PlannedCompleon Cate/Resources Needed/Partners. Amanda will put this into a dra pdf to share with commiee in amore readable format.9. SeeClickFix report from Roy. Allen Rd will be paved and striped by the state, as it is a state hwy. The commieerecommends adding a “pending” reply when issues are being addressed but not yet completed.10. Cathy F and Roy’s meeng with Jusn Rabidoux on plans for work this summer. Rec path at culvert near Park Rdto be repaved this spring. The Commiee’s striping spreadsheet was shared, stressing crosswalks that are mostdegraded. Schools and Sr Housing crossings are Jusn’s priority. Bike path crossing of minor roads should bebeer marked with paint on paving.11. Bike and Ped Crash map briefly introduced by Amanda.12.
