Mee ng called to order at 5:35
1. No changes or amendments to agenda2. Cathy F moved to accept April mee ng minutes, Bob B said that the minutes have not been posted to the website.3. Tom Chi enden informed the commi ee that City Councilor Megan Emery has proposed addi onal money beadded to the City budget for next year for ½ me administra ve assistance for Public Works for bike/ped grantwri ng, ½ me for other public works func ons. Orchard resident concerned about DPW trucks on rec path. Speed can be an issue. Jus n is not aware of a problem. Rec path users responsibility for riding in control. 4. Future joint mee ng with City Council, Planning Commission was suggested by the Commi ee. Timing is usuallya er new members have been appointed. Cathyann stated that interviews for new members are typically held inJune with July appointments. Cathyann will request advice on how to be er work with City Council.5. Cathyann brought the following to the a en on of the commi ee.a. Grant received for $10,000, which is likely to go to digital mapping of bike/ped facili es in SB.b. 4 addi onal scoping studies have been acceptedc. June mee ng agenda can be used to expand datasets connected with GIS mapping
i. Mapping of known bike/ped connec ons
ii. Mapping of missing connec ons
iii. Cathyann will bring in data that we already haved. Planning Commission update – May 9 Public hearing for end of trip bike facili ese. Kimball Avenue emergency road repair- no money budgeted for culvert over Muddy Brook. SB has 50%cost share with Williston. Opportunity to widen culvert to allow widening of pavement for bike lane.6. I89 Bike/Ped Crossing Public mee ng – 4 Commi ee members a ended for review 5 alterna ve schemes. Commi ee discussed and did a preliminary vote on preference. Discussion about how bike commuters mayprefer shortest route op on on Williston Rd, but pedestrians may prefer avoided busiest intersec ons. a. Do nothing

This is to aid cross commi ee communica ons relatedto the Comprehensive Plan. Heading include Annual Commi ee Work Objec ves/Strategy/Ac on Item/PlannedComple on Cate/Resources Needed/Partners. Amanda will put this into a dra pdf to share with commi ee in amore readable format.9. SeeClickFix report from Roy. Allen Rd will be paved and striped by the state, as it is a state hwy. The commi eerecommends adding a “pending” reply when issues are being addressed but not yet completed.10. Cathy F and Roy’s mee ng with Jus n Rabidoux on plans for work this summer. Rec path at culvert near Park Rdto be repaved this spring. The Commi ee’s striping spreadsheet was shared, stressing crosswalks that are mostdegraded. Schools and Sr Housing crossings are Jus n’s priority. Bike path crossing of minor roads should bebe er marked with paint on paving.11. Bike and Ped Crash map briefly introduced by Amanda.12.
