3. Discussion: Request from Tom Chittenden
“The discussion at the last CC meeting touched upon the Baycrest/Allen
Road bike path project in the CIP. Currently, a soccer field is planned to
be built in 2017 but the bike path project isn’t slated until 2020. I’m
advocating to align the bike path project with the soccer field
construction as I expect that to be an even bigger pedestrian magnet
along this stretch of road – would you think your committee would
agree with that assessment and support prioritizing that project on a
sooner time horizon than 2020?”
