Members present: Sandy Dooley, Gretchen Calcagni, Eric Farrell, Larry Michaels, and John Simson.
Members absent: Jim Knapp, Ken Schatz
Also present: Cathyann LaRose, City Planner
The meeting was opened at 4:05 pm. This was the first meeting of the Affordable Housing
Subcommittee.
Staff welcomed members and thanked all for attending. Staff noted that Sister Margaret Brault
was also invited to join the subcommittee but she regrettably declined due to other obligations
during the expected timeframe of work for the subcommittee.
Members reviewed the charge for the subcommittee, as approved by the Planning Commission.
Members discussed the outline of the work, and how inclusionary zoning and incentives can
interact with a form based code.
Members asked Staff to invite Paul Dreher, the City’s Form Based Code Consultant, to speak
with them at their next meeting.
Members set meeting dates for Tuesdays from 5:00-6:30. Next meeting will be Tuesday July 30
at 5:00 pm.
