5:26 p.m. Comments and questions from the public not related to items on the agenda
None
5:26 p.m. Approval of October 16, 2023 minutes ACTION
Anne Lalonde made a motion to approve the minutes; Stacey Pape seconded the motion. The
motion passed unanimously.
5:27 p.m. Review Room Rental Policy and Reimbursement
The committee agreed to make the following additions to the Room Rental Policy:
If a patron cancels for any reason within 48 hours, they must reschedule within 5
business days or forfeit all payments.
If SBPL cancels for any reason, a library representative will reschedule, if possible,
within 5 business days or refund all payments.
Anne Lalonde suggested we place the reimbursement policy on the Room Request form as well.
Margery Vagt made a motion that she will make these additions to both the Room Rental Policy
and the Room Request form and forward the updated forms to the full board for approval at the
next warned meeting. Lauren Ballard seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously.
5:45 p.m. Review Library of Things Policy and Limiting Number of Items for Checkout
The committee discussed limiting the number of items patrons can check out at once from the
Library of Things. After discussing the issue, the committee decided to not place limits on the
number of items from the Library of Things.
